Join Pinnacle Senior Consulting Actuary Laura Maxwell and Consulting Actuary John Wade as they discuss a variety of ASOP disclosures which help ensure actuarial reports comply with professional standards. This session’s format will include audience polling questions. If you would like to submit your favorite disclosures for consideration for airing, please send them to apexsupport@pinnacleactuaries.com by December 10th.

Presenters:

Laura A. Maxwell, FCAS, MAAA, CSPA, is a Senior Consulting Actuary with Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, Inc. in the San Francisco, California office. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Moravian College. She has 30 years of actuarial experience in the property/casualty insurance industry and has provided consulting services since 2003. Ms. Maxwell currently serves the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) as a member of the Examination Committee, member of the Cyber Risk Task Force, member of the Working Party on On-Demand Insurance, Chair of the Webinar Committee and Secretary/Treasurer of the Casualty Actuaries of the Bay Area.

John E. Wade, ACAS, MAAA, is a Consulting Actuary with Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, Inc. and has been providing actuarial consulting services since 1994, after having been employed by two primary carriers from 1978 - 1994. His practice is concentrated in providing reserving, funding and pricing studies for a wide variety of clients, including insurance companies, trade organizations, public entities and regulators. His skill set includes loss reserving and rating for most lines of business, liability assessment for various funds, hands-on interaction with regulators, and project management. Mr. Wade serves or has served on the Nominating Committee, the Casualty Loss Reserve Seminar Planning Committee (Vice Chairman 2016-Present), the University Liaison Program, the Committee on Professionalism Education and the Membership Advisory Panel Committee of the Casualty Actuarial Society, as well as the Emerging Issues Task Force of the Casualty Practice Council of the American Academy of Actuaries.
