February APEX Webinar - Selecting Predictors in a Multi-Dimensional World

Thursday, February 18, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern (1:00 p.m. Central)

Registration is now open for the Pinnacle APEX Webinar, Selecting Predictors in a Multi-Dimensional World: Approaches to identifying the best candidate variables from a long list and reducing dimensionality.

Quality in, quality out. This Pinnacle APEX Webinar will discuss how to choose the best variables for use in a predictive model. Gaetan Veilleux and Joey Sveda will explore several different approaches. Additionally, they will discuss how to construct new and useful variables by combining the information contained in several variables into just one or two variables. For this, Gaetan and Joey will feature the principal components analysis method.

We encourage interaction with our presenters; please feel free to submit questions before the webinar to: APEXsupport@pinnacleactuaries.com. We will address them during the presentation as time allows. You will also have the ability to submit questions in "real-time" during the session.

This webinar may qualify for up to one hour of continuing education.
