Current Openings

Actuarial Analyst

The actuarial analyst works under the direction of a senior actuarial analyst, associate actuary or consultant to create, organize, input and assess data into actuarial models. Effectively communicates with project teams to meet or exceed internal expectations, and to ensure that projects are on time and meet Pinnacle standards of excellence. 

 

Actuarial Intern

The actuarial intern organizes, inputs and updates data in actuarial models. It is an opportunity to develop professional expertise and communication skills by working on projects in various areas. 

 

Associate Actuary

The associate actuary creates and delivers solutions for clients, identifying options with recommendations and providing additional resources. The associate actuary is responsible for ensuring that best practices are adhered to within the practice area, identifying deficiencies in procedures or systems, correcting as appropriate and referring to a supervisor, project manager or account executive where necessary. The associate actuary will complete and communicate complex technical results of the actuarial analyses of a given problem into the format, language, and context appropriate for the decision-makers and other audiences for whom the results are relevant.

 

Consulting Actuary

The consulting actuary functions as an independent advisor to insurance companies, corporations, federal, state and local governments, and trade associations on actuarial matters. Works on a client base of others and/or works toward developing their own client base as an account executive, or provide predictive analytics services to clients. Works in and leads project teams as well as leads actuarial analyses and client services.

 

Executive Assistant

The executive assistant provides high-level support to executive staff to ensure effective use of an executive’s time and productive interactions with staff and the public. Provides office and general administrative support to the firm through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.
