Expertise
Jordan serves as project manager and account executive for multiple insurance programs, including group captive insurance companies, traditional insurance companies, reinsurance companies, public entities and self-insured entities. His expertise spans a wide range of industries, among them staffing and construction.
He performs both interim and year-end reserve analyses, and yearly funding analyses. Jordan also has experience with loss cost projections, risk margin calculations, risk distribution analyses and commercial lines ratemaking. He has worked with companies writing multiple lines of business, including enterprise risks, and is responsible for the preparation of statements of actuarial opinion (SAOs) and actuarial opinion summaries.
In addition, Jordan develops simulation applications that determine risk transfer in reinsurance contracts consistent with Statement of Standard Accounting Practice (SSAP) No. 62, as well as simulation applications that calculate risk margins using company specific data. Further, he has assisted in the development of several simulation models used for loss fund projections and unpaid claims estimates.
